Chef-owner Michael Holmes has 25 years of experience in the St. Louis restaurant industry, including stints at Spiros, Bristol's, Fedora Cafe, Balabans, Seven Gables Inn, Patty Long Ninth Street Abbey,
Lynch Street Bistro, Harry's Restaurant and Bar, J.P. Fields, Greenbrier Hills Country Club, and Truffles in Ladue.
The Pitted Olive offers both carry-out and dine-in menus. If you would prefer to carry out, The Pitted Olive offers a "one-stop" shopping environment, featuring a selection of entrees and side dishes from the deli case that have been designed to be reheated in your home oven at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Choose from Marinated Roasted Vegetables, Potato Casserole, Potato Pancakes, Chicken Spedini, Lasagna, Meatloaf, Mediterranean Pasta Salads, BBQ Smoked Ribs, Cajun Pork Roulade, Portabella Stacks, Eggplant Cannelloni, just to name a few. The selection in the deli case rotates daily; please call for today's selection. Hot and cold sandwiches, salads, soups, and a fine selection of homemade desserts, gourmet cheeses, and wines are also available for carry out. You may call ahead to place your order.
Dining-in is also available inside at The Pitted Olive or alfresco on our European patio. The patio has been enclosed for the winter months, offering year-round dining. Enjoy lunch and dinner specials created daily, in addition to hot and cold sandwiches, soups, and salads.
After 5pm, a bistro-style menu is available on the patio, featuring cheese plates, hot and cold small plates, flatbread pizzas, sandwiches, and other nightly specials.
We currently take reservations for parties of 2 - 8.
Corporate boxed lunches, "pick up" catering, and catering in private residences are also available. A courier delivery service is available in the metro St. Louis area.
