1. PCB in industry: The Printed circuit boards (PCBS) as they are called, are manufactured in a very large quantity as they have a huge market and are easy and cheap for production. These PCBs come as etched copper sheets with some kind of signal tracks that are required in several industries related to electronic goods. These sheets are then laminated on to a non conducting base and then further move to be used in the making of various equipment and electronic gadgets.
The sheets are then assembled with the help of surface mount technology or SMT Pick and place machines, which are also called P&Ps and are robotic machines that arrange the surface mount devices on this PCBs in a highly efficient and fast paced manner, thus helping in the manufacturing process of a certain electronic equipment.
2. Reusing PCB: The furniture made from printed circuit boards (PCB), originally meant for supporting the frame of electrical/electronic goods and also containing electrical wiring for connecting some electronic components, are widely available at cheap rates. An effort to re-use this electric waste has given rise to a new furniture industry.
The selective soldering system is used to assemble the PCBs into stylish, light and handy furniture pieces among them being book shelves, racks, tables etc. In case of altering or trying to make your own furniture from old PCBs, you can seek the help of local Electric screwdriver suppliers who are well versed with the quality of best fastening technology.

There have been instances of the green-concious people coming up with newer ideas to use these boards. One such example is from an environment enthusiast who has decorated his car exteriors with these boards and managed to source the circuiting for a small share of power requirement of his car.
